NSW Cross Country Relay Championship

There were 19 St George teams entered in the various races in cold & wet conditions at Miranda Park.

Our teams won 1 gold medal (M45+), 1 silver medal (W35+) and 2 bronze medals (MU16 and M65+).

100 Years of NSW Novice Championships

The NSW Novice Championship is unique in Australian athletics in that all competitors must not have placed in NSW open distance events on the track, road or cross country.

The event was first held on 10 June 1911 over a 5 mile course at Rose Bay under the auspices of East Sydney A.A.C.

New Club Record

Congratulations to

Bridey Delaney

who has broken the long-standing Open Women's Club Record for 1 Mile with her 5th place finish at the Mt Sac Relays in California, USA.

Bridey's time of 4:34.14 breaks the previous record of 4:46.70 that was set by Barbara Mrakovcic on 10 January 1988.
