NSW Mountain Running Championships

The NSW Mountain Running Championships were just held on a course over 8km, from Figtree to Mt Burelli, south of Wollongong on Sunday 20 April 2008.

Club Races to be held May 3

Club races will be held at Scarborough Park on May 3, same day as the NSW Road Championships.
2:00pm - 2km; 2:30pm - 4km. No points score will be awarded for these events.

16th World University Cross Country Championship

Bridey Delaney
competed yesterday in the 16th World University Cross Country Championships in Mauquenchy, France.Bridey completed the 6280m course in a time of 24m 39s and 36th place overall. The Australian team gained a silver medal in the Women's Team race.
The congratulations of everyone at St George DAC is extended to Bridey for this result.

36th IAAF World Cross Country Championships

Ben St Lawrence
competed in the 36th IAAF World Cross Country Championships in Edinburgh yesterday.From a field of 188 starters, Ben finished in 127th position in a time of 39:02. Congratulations to Ben from everyone at our club.
