Tom Richards
passed away at Calvary Hospital with his family in attendance. Tom was a Life Member of St George District Athletic Club, and a member of Ramsgate RSL Sub-Branch. Tom served with the RAF in England for 12 years.They shall not grow old
As we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them
Nor the years condemn.
With the going down of the sun
And in the morning we will remember them.

Ben St Lawrence
has defended his Australian 10000m Championship with his 4th place finish in 28:01.68 behind Kenyans Emmanuel Bett (27:39), Biton Karoki (27:40) and Micah Kogo (27:50).The race was also the Olympic Games selection trial.
This result along with Ben's Olympic A Qualifying time already clocked almost guarantees him a start in next year's London Olympic Games. Congratulations Ben.
NSW Relay Championships

Fantastic results from all competitors. St George fielded 19 teams, with 3 teams claiming gold and 5 silver medals.

NSW 3000m Championship & Australian Masters Records

Belinda Martin
is the NSW Open Women's 3000m Champion with her third place finish behind ACT runners Lisa Corrigan and Emily Brichacek.Belinda's time of 9:18.51 sets a new Australian Masters 35+ 1500m record. Congratulations Belinda.

has set a new Australian Masters 50+ 1500m record with her time of 10:30.27. Congratulations Robyn.
