has broken her existing Half Marathon Club Record of 1:17:05 that was set in last year's Sydney Running Festival with her second place finish in 1:17:04. Congratulations Belinda.

has set a new Australian 10000m record of 27:24.95 whilst finishing in third place at the 2011 Payton Jordan Cardinal Invitational at Stanford University in California, USA.

The result is a World Championship Qualifyer, Olympic A Qualifyer (27:45), beats the previous Australian Record of 27:29.73 that was set by Collis Birmingham at the same event in 2009, and lowers his existing personal best & club record of 28:05.73 set on 10/12/2009. Congratulations Ben.

The 2011 Novice Championship day would not be such a success without our Manager, , and the entire volunteer team, especially the construction crew who were there at dawn and still cleaning up at dusk. In some cases we had whole family groups working hard, with the BBQ, drinks, lollies, taking entries, selling raffle tickets, recording the results of races and helping at the finish area.

Another super result for smashing her Australian Masters 35+ 1500m Record whilst finishing in ninth place in the Open Women's 1500m final. Belinda's time of 4:21:03 breaks the previous record of 4:24.76 set yesterday.
