Australian Junior Championship

A really glorious week of results for our elite junior representatives who competed over in Perth in the Australian Junior Championships. They must have made their coach proud watching them perform so well.

Grace Robinson
claimed another two national titles becoming the U16 Shot Put & U16 Discus Throw National Champion, and also placed seventh in the U16 Javelin.

Pita Toamotu
claimed the U15 Discus National title and a silver medal in U15 Shot Put.

Matthew Rees
made a good tussle for the National title just off the winning distance to claim the Silver Medal.

Mitchell Pepper
competed in three events with a PB in the U16 Discus coming in 5th place, PB in the U16 Shot Put coming in 6th place and placed ninth in the U16 Javelin.

Matilda Werner
came in 6th Place in the Women's Javelin Under 20;
Sina Wildraut
came in 10th place in the Women's 2000 Metre Steeplechase Under 15 and 8th place in the Women's Javelin Under 15;
Tania Minutolo
came in 11th place in the Women's Javelin Under 17; and
Emily Wilson
came in 12th place in the Women's Javelin Under 17.

NSW Masters Championship

Tremendous efforts from our five SGDAC competitors who competed in the NSW Masters Championships at SOPAC.

Karen Stanley
won the State Title in the Women's 5000m 45-49.

Robyn Basman
won the State Title in the Women's 5000m 50-54.

Frank Scorcelli
claimed the silver medal in the Men's 5000m 65-69.

David Kistle
claimed the bronze medal in the Men's 5000m 40-44.

Vilis Gravitis
recorded a season best result in the Men's 800m 70-74, finishing just off the Podium in fourth place.
