It was great to see the red & whites represented with such pride today. Undeterred by the extremely muddy conditions the Open Men's team dominated their race to win comfortably. The Men's Under 12 team finished second in their event, as did the Men's 65+ team. Congratulations to all medallists.

Rockdale City Community Fun Run / Walk

This was a well organised event with our construction, entry and recording teams all superbly co-ordinated. The revised course was good. All results were finalised very quickly so that the presentation of trophies and prizes were performed with minimum delay, and we had all prize winners in attendance to accept prizes. Rockdale Councillors all enjoyed the event. The trophies were in blue and gold - the colours of Rockdale City Council. Athletes Foot Hurstville donated many gift vouchers as prizes.
Hats off to the two stroke victims who walked the 1km circuit with real tenacity and courage - the lady at the tail end said she had trained for the day and was going to finish "rain, hail or shine".
Thank you to everyone who helped out or raced, and made the event so successful. The Knights of St George Heart Association are very thankful for our help.

Congratulations to the athletes who represented our club in the Red & White club uniform - they really stood out in the very large field. Thank you also to all the club members who acted as volunteers on the course from about 6:30am to 10:00am.
